Each month, the OFCS polls its members with a question related to movies. It can be serious or amusing, but each member is given the opportunity to submit a short response to the question, which we will then post on the first Thursday of the month. Here is this week’s query.

Josh Taylor @ The Forgetful Film Critic – The first time I visited Los Angeles, I was determined to go to a screening at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater. I didn’t realize before going that the theater only has one screen. When I arrived, I discovered that the only movie I could see would be… Doom (2005), starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and based on the popular first-person-shooter video game from the mid-‘90s. The movie is terrible, but at least I got to spend my time in the theater looking around at all the great architecture, instead of having to pay attention to what was happening on the screen.
Rick Aragon @ Rick’s Texan Reviews – Witnessing literal fistfights over seats, which happens even with assigned seating.
