  1. Dear Mr. Roten,
I recently read your review of Hard to Kill. I appreciate your respectful nod regarding the film. I play the man with the knife in the liquor store. ” Im gonna cut your heart out” It was my first notable bit in a film of that caliber.
My hope is that you would consider screening a low-budget
film I produced with my own money. I am a veteran and wanted to tackle the subject of PTSD.
I realize you review big budget films, so I understand if it’s not a good fit.
If you decide to screen my film, It would mean a lot to me. It is a departure from the usual. Its not stylized action.

My approach was abstract. Imagery and poetic narrative, not violence. I swayed from the norm in the hopes that the piece would reflect a dream like state.

In addition, I explored the mindset of a controversial subject regarding an ominous individual.

I imagine this might offend some people. My point was to consider an alternate perspective instead of an obvious evil. Much like the way I have been portrayed in film.

Please forgive the intrusion. This was the only outlet I could find to communicate with you.

    Sincerely,
    Robert LaSardo
