ABOUT DOUG HELLER
I fell in love with film as an art form when I was a teenager in the mid-90s and continue that love today. I attended the University of Pittsburgh and received my BA in Film Studies and later obtained my MaED from Argosy University. I’ve been writing film reviews off and on since the early 2000s, but regularly for www.nextprojection.com since 2013.My favorite genres are sci-fi, comedy and noir and I have a great affinity for classic Hollywood films of any genre, but I’ll watch anything. As Roger Ebert said: “No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough.”

ABOUT DEREK DESKINS
Derek Deskins began writing about film irregularly on Tumblr in 2010 to prevent mental prolapse while unemployed. In 2013, following a lucky meeting at Independent Film Festival Boston, he began contributing to his first outlet, LonelyReviewer.com. Since then, he has contributed to WhatCulture.com, Starpulse.com, NextProjection.com, and Edge Media Network. He continues to fight the stigma that being good at math means you are not any no good at writing. I good write, very much.

ABOUT BEN NICHOLSON
Ben is a freelance film writer and critic who is the Editor of cine-vue.com and also contributes to publications such as The Skinny and the BFI. Having always been enamoured with the silver screen, he is voracious consumer of cinema – at home with hulking blockbusters as much as contemplative art house fare. A sucker for happy endings, his favourite films include The Third Man, In the Mood For Love and Last Year at Marienbad.
