ABOUT JAMES MCDONALD
Movies cast their spell on James early. At seven, while other kids in Dublin were playing football, he was dreaming in frames and scenes. By ten, he’d traded comic books for film guides, devouring everything he could learn about the craft.His first film came at fourteen – a scrappy four-minute short called “Chase” that sparked a lifelong passion. That spark turned into a flame, and soon his work was lighting up screens at prestigious festivals around the world, from the AFI Dallas International Film Festival to the Burbank International Film Festival.
