Reviews for this film from our members:
- [New – 5/1/14] | Kevin Carr @ 7M Pictures
- Excerpt: The problem with “The Quiet Ones” is that for all the set-up and atmosphere, the story completely unravels in the final act. I didn’t have a problem with where the story went from a supernatural standpoint, but rather from a character standpoint. The back-end of the script is poorly written and sometimes makes little sense.
- [New – 5/1/14] | Susan Granger @ www.susangranger.com
- Excerpt: Campy and creepy – it’s sinister but not scary enough.
- [New – 5/1/14] | MaryAnn Johanson @ FlickFilosopher.com
- Excerpt: There aren’t many outright scares here, and when they do come, they are curiously circumspect, but the old-fashioned Hammer Horror atmosphere is appealingly spooky.
- [New – 5/1/14] | Jeremy Kibler @ The Artful Critic
- Excerpt: Despite a creepily amusing ending that’s open to “The Quiet Ones: Part II,” the majority of the film is too weak to elicit any serious shivers. One keeps hoping it will go left, but it’s content to go right.
- [New – 5/1/14] | Ross Miller @ Thoughts On Film
- Excerpt: It will leave anyone but the newest of horror converts feeling let down.
