- Excerpt: While I was initially resistant to some its creative choices, I eventually was able to get on its weirdly specific wavelength, and found myself captivated by its cool neo-noir vibe. It’s not some John Wick riff that you might expect, but I think it’s something far more interesting and unique.
- Matt Donato @ Flickering Myth
- Excerpt: If Crank is the meaty ham, Smokin’ Aces the sharp cheese and Shoot ‘Em Up the crusty bread, Hotel Artemis is the lite sandwich spread you can faintly taste but still enjoy nonetheless.

- Brent McKnight @ The Last Thing I See
- Excerpt: A fun little R-rated trifle.
- [New] | Aaron Neuwirth @ We Live Entertainment
- Excerpt: Hotel Artemis had the semblance of a fun crime thriller, packing in enough action to make up for what looked to be a series of interactions between stock character-types played by actors relishing the chance to mug for the camera. The thing is, writer/director Drew Pearce barely has any room for action, as the film is almost entirely focused on the various characters we meet, and spends a majority of time letting the audience watch them interact.
