- Excerpt: It falls short of the original film, but clearly improves upon its immediate predecessor and ends on a strong note to restore luster to a franchise that previously felt like it should be just a single film.

- Excerpt: “Men in Black 3” doesn’t really develop any real momentum until Tommy Lee Jones, as Agent K, mysteriously disappears from his New York City apartment. Enter Josh Brolin, in a highly-publicized performance as a young Agent K, and the movie upshifts into high gear and turns into a rollicking comedy/adventure that easily holds its own with the first movie and far exceeds the second. “Men in Black 3” was shot on film and post-converted to 3D. The results are solid and aliens in 3D are fun. The time travel sequence is exciting and inventive. Danny Elfman, who composed the familiar theme, handles scoring duties and has wisely not tried to reinvent the wheel.
