ABOUT JAMES PLATH
James Plath is R. Forrest Colwell Chair of English at Illinois Wesleyan University, where he has taught film, sitcoms, American literature, journalism, and fiction writing for the past 27 years. For many years he wrote for DVD Town/Movie Metropolis, which, before its demise, was the oldest dot-com devoted to home movie news and reviews. Now he reviews films for his own blog, FamilyHomeTheater.com, which covers mostly PG-13 and under films.
