Obviously everyone knows the news by now that director Tony Scott has committed suicide. He certainly did have a distinct style and, while he wasn't a critical darling, I think he made more than his fair share of entertaining films. Good topic. I've always sat up straight for the films of Quentin Tarantino, even when I've not enjoyed them overly. Something about his energetic, film-loving style blows my head open. Bit of trivia, my neighbour actually worked on Freddy Got Fingered as the "fabricator." Said it was a blast to make. Of the more recent flicks I've seen, I'd say Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Project X, One for the Money, and This Means War make the grade. Just awful, repugnant, immora...
