I started writing about film in 2008 and have never looked back. Mostly, I write reviews of current releases (as current as they can be, considering the lagging Swiss release schedule) and post them on my German-language blog, “Facing the Bitter Truth”, and on “The Zurich English Student”, the online newspaper of the University of Zurich’s English department.

But I don’t just review films: I’m also a Master student of English Literature and Linguistics as well as Film Studies at the University of Zurich. “Respect the Research!”, as they say in ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’.
